Capptus is proud to present its Annual Sustainability Report, highlighting our commitment to
environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and governance excellence. Our efforts this year
reflect a strategic alignment with global sustainability practices, ensuring we contribute to a
sustainable future while achieving our business objectives. This report encapsulates our key
achievements, benchmarks, and future goals.
Environmental Impact
At Capptus, we recognize the critical role of sustainability in
driving long-term value for our stakeholders. Our efforts to reduce our environmental footprint are
anchored in strategic initiatives designed to optimize energy use, promote sustainable IT practices,
and significantly lower carbon emissions.
Office energy consumption remains minimal, averaging 75 kWh per month, amounting to an annual usage
of approximately 900 kWh. This efficiency is achieved through deliberate measures, including the
deployment of energy-efficient lighting systems, appliances, and flexible working hours to limit
resource consumption.
Additionally, our paper usage has been closely monitored. With an average consumption of 600 sheets
per month, we have instituted policies that limit printing to legally required documents, ensuring
resource efficiency. The estimated carbon emissions from paper usage are 97.96 kg CO₂e annually.
Carbon Footprint Reduction Efforts
Our comprehensive carbon footprint for the year stands at 9,439.96 kg CO₂e, encompassing emissions
from energy usage, business travel, and paper consumption. On a per-employee basis, emissions amount
to approximately 188.8 kg CO₂e annually, well below national and global averages for IT service
companies of similar size.
Benchmark Comparison: In 2023, the average Mexican emitted 3,520 kg CO₂e annually. Capptus's
per-employee emissions are significantly lower, highlighting our effective strategies in minimizing
environmental impact.
Social Impact
Capptus places a strong emphasis on fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace environment. Our
remote-first work policy has been pivotal in promoting work-life balance, a factor that has been
recognized and appreciated by our employees.
This year, our Employee Satisfaction Survey yielded an impressive score of 82 out of 100, reflecting
the positive impact of our policies and initiatives. In addition to this, all Salesforce team
members are engaged in structured training programs with clearly defined certification goals,
ensuring continuous professional development.
As part of our commitment to social responsibility, Capptus contributed to Fundación Bafar, an
organization dedicated to improving food quality, education, sports, values, and ecological
awareness for children in northern Mexico. This initiative aligns with our broader mission to create
a positive societal impact.
Employee Satisfaction Metrics
In line with our dedication to environmental
stewardship, Capptus recognizes the importance of fostering sustainability consciousness among our
team. We believe that by empowering our employees with knowledge, resources, and a culture that
champions sustainability, we can collectively contribute to positive change.
Our organizational development initiatives incorporate sustainability training and awareness
programs designed to educate and inspire employees to adopt sustainable practices both in the
workplace and beyond. By promoting sustainability consciousness, we aim to create a culture of
responsibility, innovation, and collaboration, where every team member is an advocate for a
sustainable future.
Governance and Future Goals
Capptus is steadfast in its commitment to sustainability. Looking forward, we aim to further elevate
our practices by joining the UN Global Compact, tracking detailed carbon footprints, and
establishing baseline KPIs to measure and improve our sustainability initiatives.
In preparation for these advancements, we are proactively aligning our operations with both national
and international sustainability standards. Our goal is to continue delivering value to stakeholders
while ensuring that our growth is both responsible and sustainable.
